Classes are taught by an experienced OET tutor from India, with over 20 years of experience.

A5) We strongly recommend nurses complete this program before proceeding to the OET. LNS offers an 8-week grammar build-up program exclusively for nurses needing additional support to enhance their English grammar skills, covering vocabulary, tenses, sentence structure, punctuation, active/passive voice, clauses, and phrases.
Completion of this program equips nurses with advanced English grammar knowledge essential for OET Reading, Writing, Speaking, and Listening.

Q6) How long is the Grammar Brush-Up program?
A6) The program runs two days a week for 1.5 hours each day. The first day focuses on grammar, while the second day emphasizes spoken English, including presentations, debates, and quizzes. This program is led by experienced English teachers and healthcare professionals from Sri Lanka.
The second day includes an additional 1.5 hours taught by the nurse practitioner to cover OET foundation skills (Total = 3 hours)

A8) This program is tailored for nurses experiencing difficulties in OET speaking and listening or those who do not wish to study OET for this reason.
Students engage with healthcare-related podcasts, participate in live debates, discussions, and presentations facilitated by four tutors, including a native English-speaking teacher.
This ongoing activity lasts for 2 hours once a week, with a minimum recommendation of attending 10 lessons. Enrolling in the program helps enhance confidence in listening, particularly UK, Australian, and Canadian accents, as well as English speaking skills.
The price is 10,000 LKR for 10 lessons.

Conducted by native English speakers, the course not only benefits nurses preparing for the OET but also equips doctors and other professionals aiming to succeed in IELTS and PTE exams for higher education and overseas employment opportunities.
